I don't believe I have followers to the blog because I'm so inconsistent about updating but here's an update.
So I tried out for an amateur soccer team in May. I will be on the roster but I'm not guaranteed any playing time. My role may just end up being a practice training partner for the team. That's not a role I'm used to playing so its been a journey as I figure out my motives, level of commitment and drive to just go for it and see what happens. I have no idea if/when I'll even dress for a game and if I do dress there's no guarantee I'll get in the game. That said, I'd love for you to come support us. If you see a game you could make you should probably call, text or email me to see if I'll even be at the game. I may not even know until the last minute if I'm dressing. The website below is where you can look for the schedule, directions to the games and updates as the schedule is tentative. Our home field is at Hempfield High School in Lancaster county (Landisville, PA) and I believe admission into the games is $4/person.
Lancaster Inferno
I am looking forward to see what develops as a result of being a part of this and hope the Lord will use me, however he wants.
If you just want to see me... come to Camp Hebron! Camp still has a lot of openings for kids camps, family camps and the campground. Fun times ARE guaranteed there. :)
